Nia Peeples Still Ashamed About Union With Howard Hewitt

You may remember actress, Nia Peeples, from Fame or from Walker Texas Ranger. Well, a few years ago, the actress was married to singer, Howard Hewitt. Whenever she was asked if she was in fact his wife, she would go as far as stating that they are nothing more than just "good friends".

This was only to hide the fact that she knew but did not know that Hewitt had dealings in the drug trade and she did not want to have her name linked to him should anything go awry with his dealings. How naive.
However, to make matters worst, she was aware of the fact that Hewitt was no stranger to having women as drug mules in which they would take the fall should a deal go wrong and saw no problem with it until she was propositioned to function as a carrier for drugs in his trafficking ring; the marriage end all....aside from the fact that he has a liking for men and would rather perform for an all male audience than one that is otherwise.
Strange what a woman will put up with and not simultaneously.
